Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society is an American recognition fraternity for participants in collegiate theatre.

Membership is open to students (primarily undergraduate) who are active in collegiate/university theatre at four-year institutions (full colleges and universities). Most casts/chapters use a "point system" for determining eligibility of membership, with a certain number of points being dealt to a certain task in theatre. With some chapters there is an induction/training process, while other chapters choose members solely on merit, where the theatre experience is considered the induction process. Honorary membership may be conferred on certain individuals (usually department faculty) after obtaining permission from the National Officers.

Delta Zeta was founded October 24th, 1902. We are a group of women who have made a promise to live truly and lead and serve. Our philanthropy is speech and hearing. Our National philanthropy partner is The Starkey Hearing Foundation- Because of our donation, the Starkey Hearing Foundation gave over 500,000 hearing aid fittings; created a global recipient base; built 70 programs around the globe; created an After Care program; trained and educated governments on hearing, hearing loss and hearing aids; initiated seven national hearing healthcare plans; and built the Starkey Hearing Institute in Lusaka, Zambia. Another partner we have is The American Society for Deaf Children. Through this partnership, Delta Zeta members will have the opportunity to learn more about ASL, gain a greater understanding of Deaf culture, spread awareness and become informed and effective allies of the Deaf community. Our Global service project is the SeriousFun Children's Network. SeriousFun’s mission is to create opportunities for children and their families to reach beyond serious illness and discover joy, confidence and a new world of possibilities, always free of charge.

Phi Theta Kappa consists of more than 3.5 million members from 1,400 chapters worldwide. Recognizing and encouraging scholarship, providing opportunities for the development of leadership and service, and stimulating interest in continuing academic excellence are the goals of Phi Theta Kappa.

Membership into Phi Theta Kappa is by invitation only, indicating you must have accumulated at least 12 credit hours as a full-time student, at least 6 credit hours as a certificate student, or at least 12 credit hours as a part-time student at PennWest Clarion with a minimum of a 3.4 cumulative grade point average. Students at PennWest Clarion and PennWest Global Online are able to join. In addition to meeting the academic standards, potential members must be of good moral character and possess the qualities of good citizenship and leadership as judged by the members of the faculty. Once you become a member of Phi Theta Kappa, you must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 to remain a member.

Phi Theta Kappa membership guarantees you access to more benefits than many other student organizations. You have the opportunity to network with local members during your time at PennWest Clarion and to participate in service opportunities for the campus and the community. As a member, your academic excellence will be recognized with the Golden Key Membership Pin, membership certificate and identification card, notation of membership on your transcripts and the privilege of wearing Phi Theta Kappa regalia at graduation.

Membership also includes an array of benefits designed to help you grow as a scholar and servant leader. The local chapter allows you to network with a local group of scholars on campus and hone critical leadership and business skills such as researching real-life issues in your community, working on a team to plan ways to impact or resolve those issues, learning to effectively communicate and collaborate with fellow students, faculty, administration and local businesses to improve the community, and learning to negotiate conflicts in a positive way through our Honors in Action programming.
