This organization is for all students interested in the recording arts and the music industry. Students can assist in operating the CMT department's student-run record label–Gallagher Records–and experience working in both studio and live audio settings.

The purpose of this organization is to assist students in learning about the recording arts as well as the music industry. Students will assist in operating the CMT department's student-run record label, Gallagher Records, coordinate with campus and local music talent to create original performances, run recording sessions and produce Over-The-Air audio/video broadcasts. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to work in both recording studio in live audio settings. Members can also learn from guest speakers, educational trips, and collaborative projects. The club will work together to prepare all members for an audio engineering job and/or live audio job out of college.

The purpose of this organization shall be to advance and diffuse chemical knowledge, encourage interest in chemistry and science in local academic and social communities, and introduce students to the professional chemistry community.

The PennWest California Chemistry Club / ACS Student Chapter is responsible for conducting chemistry outreach events in the local community and serves as a community marker for the Chemistry Students.  The Club works with local school districts and community organizations to provide fun and engaging demonstrations that provide insight into the fascinating field of chemistry.  The Club also engages in professional development and networking by regularly attending events sponsored by and associating as members of the ACS (American Chemical Society) and SACP (Society of Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh).

This club is open to students of all majors, not only business students! The students will have the opportunity to learn and practice real-world skills that they will be able to apply in future employment opportunities after graduating.

Requirements:

Must be currently enrolled at a PennWest campus
Must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
Must submit two recommendations from faculty, staff, or alumni
Attend two meetings per month (each includes a leadership training component)

NSSLHA is PennWest Clarion’s branch of National Students in Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. We are accredited with ASHA, the American Speech and Hearing Association. Our branch provides opportunity for all students (undergraduate and graduate) interested in pre-audiology and/or communication sciences and disorders to meet others in their prospective fields and opportunity for service hours within the community. The purpose of NSSLHA is to encourage professional interest in the study of human communication sciences and disorders, provide continuity to the dissemination of professional information, provide a vehicle for student representation in matters of professional concern, offer opportunities for social and professional fellowship, inspire high planes of academic achievement on academic and clinical activities, and aid in building public relations with other University departments and with local organizations interested in knowing about the field of speech and hearing.

The purpose of the organization is to establish and maintain a sense of community among members of the
Honors Program at Pennsylvania Western University - Clarion Campus. The organization will serve as the
student government body of the Honors Program. The organization will promote interaction between students,
faculty, administration, and the university community.

Membership shall be open to any member of the Pennsylvania Western University - Clarion Campus Honors
Program, along with others from the general student body of the university. Members who are in the Honors
Program should be in good academic standing (2.0 QPA). To be considered part of Student Honors
Association, a student must submit a membership form by the end of the third General Business Meeting of
each semester. To be considered an active member of the organization, members must attend at least 50% of
General Business Meetings and attend one organization sponsored event per semester.
