PennWest Clarion's "Club Smile" works directly with the nonprofit organization "Operation Smile" to raise money and awareness for children with cleft lip and palate in developing countries. All majors are welcome and are encouraged to join this club! Club Smile highly encourages Communication Sciences and Disorders majors to join this club, as cleft lip and palate are common diagnoses in their prospective field. Each spring semester, Club Smile hosts a "Small Walk For Big Smiles" to raise money and awareness for cleft lip and palate. Club Smile meets monthly and also provides opportunity for all majors to engage in service opportunities, receive further education regarding cleft lip and palate, and 1 hour of undergraduate clinical observation hours for CSD majors via their "film fest."

Morgan's Message is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that aims to eliminate the stigma surrounding student-athlete mental health. The mission statement from the Morgan's Message website is "to amplify stories, resources and expertise to confront student-athlete mental health, build a community by and for athletes, facilitate safe peer-to-peer conversations and provide a platform for advocacy". The organization's vision is to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community, to expand the dialogue and normalize conversations, to equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics, and to empower those who suffer in silence and support those who feel alone.
